Mumbai based influencer Maryam Farhat is a content creator, food blogger, model, brand consultant and influencer. She has been a part of the hospitality industry for the past 7 years. Today she believes in doing whatever it takes to put a smile on someone’s face and to not only believe in yourself but also make others believe in their potential.
Her hospitality career started with The St. Regis Mumbai where she has experience as a Guest Relations Manager. As such, she supervised the arrival of many VIP guests such as Miss World Manushi Chhillar and has organised fashion shows, weddings and executive events for global groups such as the Young President’s Organization and Royal dignitaries from a few Arab countries. She was responsible for the handling of platinum and gold members, long-term guests, guest-related issues and complaints and lobby operations. While working for St. Regis, Maryam has earned more than 500 positive reviews on Marriott’s Guest Voice and Tripadvisor. She has also been awarded three Certificates of Appreciation for accomplishments in tasks and dedication by the hotel.
Following her career growth, she started as an event head for Curly Tales which was followed by anchoring where she planned and executed food-related and entertainment events. She has also travelled and starred in many videos and created viral content for them. The next step in her journey led her to work with Zoom TV as an anchor and fashion producer. Maryam has also worked as the head of marketing, hospitality, admin and public relations for inter-collegiate festivals and events for three years. She has also participated in social and environmental gatherings such as tributes to 9/11 victims and cancer awareness events. Her most recent stint had her as the General Manager of C’est la Vie, a membership club in Bandra along with Invincible Boudoir et Jardin Lounge and Mia Cuccinna restaurant.
Maryam’s passion has always been food, travelling and fashion. This has led her to become one of the top food bloggers/reviewers for Zomato in Mumbai with 700+ reviews and 9000+ photos. She has expertise in 28 areas on Zomato which very few bloggers have achieved and has been invited by the top restaurants and hotels in the city along with introducing new and exciting restaurants. She shares her best food experiences mainly about Mumbai, but her travel diaries about India are also a highlight. She has also done modelling and print shoots for brands like KalkiFashion Space, Gehna, Jiya by Veer Design Studio and many more. She has also branched out as a brand consultant for various leading brands along with helping start-ups and promoting new and upcoming small businesses.
After a fulfilling and rewarding journey of 7 years, she has decided to take more time out for her passion for food, fashion and travelling to follow her heart and to do something on her own that she loves.
