At the heart of DIFF is the vision of filmmaker and Festival Director Debolina Modak Sadhu, who, alongside Festival Chairman Kajari Modak, founded the festival in 2016 to spotlight stories that often go unheard in mainstream media. Known for its unique blend of culture, talent, and diversity, DIFF presented over 80 awards this year, judged by a distinguished panel of national and international jury members. Categories spanned Short Films, Feature Films, Documentaries, Animation, Music Videos, and even Mobile Films, reflecting the festival’s commitment to embracing every form of storytelling.
