Andhra Pradesh Youth Road Safety Programme 2023

On August 15th 2023, iPledge Foundation, A women-led NGO founded by Youth Leader Sheeba Gollapalli planned and organized an one week road safety programme starting from August 15th 2023 to August 22nd 2023 in Andhra Pradesh. Its first of its kind innovative program in Andhra Pradesh which prioritizes the SDG’s.

As India proudly observe its 77th Independence Day on the 15th of August, commemorating 76 years of cherished freedom. The theme for this year’s celebration is “Nation First, Always First,” a part of the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” festivities. Sheeba Gollapalli appreciates  Sri. Nitin Gadkari The Minister of Road Transport & Highways in India who had the sustainable vision to construct green highways and to reduce road accidents. Also congratulate Sri. Pinipe Viswarup, Minister for Transport of Andhra Pradesh & Government of Andhra Pradesh for reducing the timeline process through citizen friendly services.

Working committee of iPledge Foundation elaborates that this Road safety program will extend for a week to bring awareness among school students, youth & auto rickshaw drivers. The program will cover areas of D. Kesavaram, Rajvolu, Rajanagaram, Peddapuram, Samalkota of Andhra Pradesh. A roadshow is been planned at Pragathi Engineering College, Aditya Engineering Colleges, Peddapuram, AMG High School, Bommuru, KLR’s LIDS Dental College, Rajanagaram. Working staff of the foundation requests support from its volunteers, AP Traffic Police Dept. & Admins of Educational Bodies to success the program. We commemorate the heroes who paved the way for our freedom. Grateful for the precious gift of liberty, let’s rejoice in the incredible marvel of independence.
