Naksha Vista Gala 2024: A Fashion Extravaganza for Emerging Talents
Naksha Design Institute, a premier design education institute established in 2019, is proud to present “Naksha Vista Gala 2024,” a state-level fashion week taking place on April 20th at Mohit Moitra Manch, Kolkata, from 12 PM to 8 PM.
This prestigious event offers a platform for aspiring talents in the fashion industry. Over ten in-house fashion design students will showcase their creativity alongside 15 emerging fashion and jewellery designers and boutiques. Additionally, 30+ brands will display their latest fashion, jewellery, and lifestyle products through captivating runway presentations featuring a team of talented models.
A Collaborative Effort for Growth
Naksha Vista Gala 2024 fosters collaboration by partnering with Lakme Academy Kolkata, which will provide professional makeup and hairstyling services for the event. This event is a launchpad for aspiring designers, models, makeup artists, and hairdressers, granting them invaluable stage exposure and practical experience.

The event celebrates youth and women’s empowerment. It aligns with Naksha Design Institute’s mission to empower emerging students, professionals, and upcoming brands.
Model Benefits & Development
Selected models will participate in an intensive two-week training program (April 1st to 12th) encompassing grooming, choreography, and look tests. Additionally, they will receive designer wear, jewellery, and accessories for the event. Beyond the runway, models will be mentored by celebrities, benefit from Lakme Academy’s makeup and hairstyling expertise, and gain valuable exposure through media coverage, publicity management, and a portfolio of over 50 professional work folios (including images and videos) and 20+ event portfolios. Awards, gifts, certifications, and potential brand endorsement contracts based on performance are also included.
