KEI Wires & Cables organizes Nukkad drama in schools to make children aware of “Good Touch-Bad Touch” and Digital

Surat (Gujarat) [India]: Sankalp Jyoti Programme was organized by KEI Wires & Cables at LP Savani Vidhyabhavan, Adajan, Surat, to make children aware. This programme was organized to make children responsible in digital world & to make them aware about different aspects of safety.

Junior section of the children was made aware about the “Good Touch Bad Touch” topic through an informative Jingle.  Along with that, Senior section of children were encouraged to be good “Digital Citizens” through a Nukkad Play. The play was focused on how children should make the best use out of Internet & other tips for a safe digital presence. The Chief Guest of the programme was Ms. Nency Patel, Scientist-B & DIO, NIC, MeitY. Along with her PSI N.G. Modhvaniya & DY SP Traffic, M. N. Sheikh & Women Lok Rakshak team also graced the event. As special Guests we had senior executives from KEI – Mr. Deepak Zhamtani, Tejas Shah, among many more.

During the programme, everyone, including Chief Guests, Electricians & Children took a pledge to be responsible, fearless & strong.

Ms. Nency Patel addressed the audience & told children about how to be safe in this digital world & tips such as how to keep your passwords safe.

Through the Jingle, a topic as sensitive as “Good Touch Bad Touch” were told to children in a sensitive manner & they were made aware on how to differentiate between the two through examples & what steps they should in case they face a bad touch.

On this occasion, LP Savani Vidhyabahavan’s Mr. Mavjibhai Savani, Chairman & Mr. Brajesh Sharma, Principal were also present & praised the zeal & enthusiasm of children & students who performed in the event. In the end, gratitude was expressed to all the attendees for their time & participation in Sankalp Jyoti programme. A thank you note was conveyed to LP Savani Vidhyabhavan & its chairman, principal, teachers, staff & students for their enthusiastic participation in organizing the programme.
